President
President of MaisonBrison Communications since 2019, Pierre first joined the firm in 2009, becoming a partner in 2016. He has been involved in North American financial markets for over twenty-five years. Prior to joining MBC, he spent 12 years as a financial analyst covering special situations and technology companies for global brokerage firms as well as doing investment banking work. During that time, the quality of his work, research and recommendations was recognized in various institutional investor surveys. He currently works with several clients who have global exposure and well-diversified investor bases. Pierre's methodology calls for a deep dive into clients' organizations in order to understand their business, industry trends, and competitive landscape. For the past 6 years, he has served as Chairman of the board of Québec Bourse. Pierre is a graduate of the Université du Québec in Montréal where he studied accounting and management.
Partner, Executive Vice President
Martin is a seasoned practitioner in the fields of investment research and financial analysis. He brings specialized insight and consistent clarity to the financial communications of MBC's clients. Throughout his career, Martin has studied corporate decision-making and market behaviour. He spent thirteen years in various positions related to research and analysis, including nine as Special Situations Analyst at National Bank Financial in Montreal. As an analyst he identified growth-oriented companies at an early stage of their evolution, enabling numerous investors to generate above-average returns. His excellent work was recognized at the StarMine Analyst Awards in 2006, where he ranked second in the diversified industrial category. Martin graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke with an M.Sc. in Finance in 1993, and earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1996.
Vice President
Trevor is an investor relations professional with over 20 years of international capital markets and financial services experience. He has been a trusted advisor to several of North America's leading companies and has worked with clients of all sizes across a wide variety of sectors. Trevor is highly proficient at distilling complex business models and transactions into clear and compelling stories that resonate with target audiences. He has advised on and led communications for IPO and RTO transactions, mergers and acquisitions, as well as restructurings, divestitures and go-private transactions. Trevor has big agency experience with NATIONAL Public Relations, spent several years as an independent consultant, managed an advisory firm that helped China-based businesses access North American capital markets, and was a senior member of the diversified industries group at TMX Equicom. Earlier in his career, Trevor worked in a commercial lending capacity at one of Canada’s largest banks.
Vice President
Vance joined MBC in 2021. He is a skilled executive with significant experience in investor relations. Vance has spent more than two decades executing investor relations plans with measurable goals, as well as advising management teams on strategic IR decisions. He also has managed communications with financial analysts and institutional investors, striving to have public companies fairly valued by the Street. Vance is a results-oriented leader and strategic thinker with hands-on experience in IPOs, secondary offerings and hostile takeover bids. He is a past board member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI), Quebec Chapter, and successfully completed the securities course of the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). Vance previously worked as a journalist, both as an editor and reporter, and graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism with Honours from Carleton University in Ottawa.
